The NASCAR Euro Series was founded in 2009 and became the official European NASCAR championship in 2012. Since then, it has evolved into one of the most exciting and fastest-growing touring car series in Europe. A key factor in its success is its structure, which features low entry barriers and cost-effective solutions, providing drivers from around the world with extensive seat time and a thrilling racing environment across Europe.
The NASCAR Euro Series consists of two main championships: PRO and OPEN. A key aspect of the series is that two drivers share the same car in these separate championships, each catering to different driver profiles.
To compete in EuroNASCAR, all drivers must hold an international racing license. The series organizer, TeamFJ, classifies drivers into three categories:
Gold-rated drivers are only eligible to compete in PRO. The top-tier championship is also open to B and C drivers, provided they have the pace to compete at a high level. Meanwhile, the OPEN championship is reserved for C and Bdrivers, making it the perfect platform for promising young talents and amateur racers to experience the “Pure Racing” essence of NASCAR in Europe.
A NASCAR Euro Series season consists of seven events across Europe. Each race weekend features four races—two for each championship.

Race Distances:
The season consists of seven events, with two races per weekend in each championship (except for Venray, which hosts only one race). Each category features 13 races, determining the season’s champion.
After the regular season ends (round 5 of 9), drivers can drop their worst result, keeping their best 8 results out of 9before entering the double-points Playoffs. The driver with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the new NASCAR Euro Series Champion.
In the PRO championship, drivers compete for the title of NASCAR Euro Series Champion, recognized as the European NASCAR Champion. The champion earns a prestigious championship ring and lifts the unique Tijey Trophy at the season’s conclusion. Additionally, every NASCAR Euro Series Champion secures a place in the NASCAR Hall of Fame, inside the Whelen Hall of Champions.
