Alumitec Racing is proud to announce the appointment of Romain Iannetta as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective from the 2026 season of the NASCAR Euro Series.
An experienced driver, instructor, and respected technical expert, Iannetta brings a rare and comprehensive motorsport background acquired at the highest level of European competition. His arrival marks a strategic milestone in Alumitec Racing’s continued professionalization and long-term growth.
At 45 years old, Romain Iannetta is a recognized figure in European motorsport. A former endurance and NASCAR Euro Series driver, he has accumulated more than 70 race starts in the championship, achieved multiple podium finishes, and built extensive experience across GT racing, endurance, and stock-car competition. He has also competed in several editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, earning a reputation as a precise, reliable, and highly analytical racer. His dual expertise—combining driving, engineering understanding, and team management—makes him a valuable asset within the European paddock.

As COO, Iannetta will oversee day-to-day operations, manage the implementation of a two-car structure for 2026, coordinate private testing programs, and strengthen collaboration between drivers and engineers to optimize on-track performance. He will also play a key role in talent development and team structuring.
