Corrado Canneori is the Senior Executive & Technical Director of Alumitec Racing he is also the Founder of CAAL Racing one of the most respected and long-standing teams in European motorsport. His journey began in 1977 when he established the team, combining a passion for racing with exceptional technical skill. For over four decades, he has guided CAAL Racing through every major phase of its development, transforming it from a small workshop into a competitive force across multiple racing disciplines.
In addition to founding the team, he was also one of its original drivers, competing in touring car championships and hill climb events with prototypes until the late 1990s. His direct experience behind the wheel gave him a unique understanding of race dynamics, which he has carried into his technical and leadership roles.
As Technical Director, he is deeply in the design and construction of race car chassis and roll cages, and is recognized for his expertise in suspension systems, engine tuning, and carburetor setup. His hands on knowledge and innovative engineering approach have played a critical role in the team’s long-term competitiveness.
Over the years, he has led CAAL Racing in a wide range of championships, including touring cars, formula series, GT racing, historic and prototype competitions in Italy, as well as prestigious international series such as the Ferrari Challenge Europe, Clio Cup Europe, and the International Superstars Series.
With a rare blend of vision, experience, and technical mastery, he remains the driving force behind Alumitec Racing’s success. His legacy continues to shape the team’s future, setting the standard for professionalism and performance in European motorsport.
