Diego is a passionate and driven engineering student at the University of Perugia who brings both academic knowledge and practical experience to the team. Serving as the Assistant Director of Engineering, he plays a growing role in the technical operations of the NASCAR Euro Series team, combining his studies with hands on work both in the workshop and at the track.

Eager to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application, Diego actively alternates his university coursework with direct involvement in the race team. Whether it’s during the race weekend or in the garage preparing the car, he contributes to setup decisions, data analysis, and mechanical tasks under the guidance of senior engineers. His quick learning ability and sharp technical instincts have made him a valuable asset, even in high-pressure situations.

At the racetrack, Diego supports the engineering team with live telemetry, tire and suspension data, and post-session performance reviews. Back in the workshop, he participates in detailed mechanical preparations and contributes to performance improvements between races. His academic background brings a fresh perspective to the team, and his enthusiasm for motorsports drives him to constantly expand his skills.

Balancing his education with a growing professional role is no easy task, but Diego approaches it with energy and commitment. His goal is to become a full-time race engineer, and his current role is a critical step in that journey. Already, his involvement has left a positive impact on team performance and operations.
