Alumitec Racing and Raphaël Lessard demonstrated remarkable speed and determination during the NASCAR GP UK at the legendary Brands Hatch circuit.
Competing behind the wheel of the No. 11 Alumitec Racing Ford Mustang, the Canadian driver secured second place in both OPEN Championship races, confirming his ability to perform at the highest level on one of the most demanding tracks on the calendar.
In Saturday’s race, challenging and constantly changing weather conditions made every lap unpredictable. Lessard maintained his composure, avoided costly mistakes and crossed the finish line in second place, only 1.390 seconds behind race winner Martin Doubek.
The Alumitec Racing driver returned even stronger on Sunday. Following mechanical difficulties encountered by teammate Gianmarco Ercoli in the preceding V8GP race, the team worked under intense pressure to prepare the No. 11 Mustang in time for Lessard’s start.
Their efforts were rewarded with another spectacular performance. Lessard fought at the front throughout the race and was involved in a dramatic three-wide battle for the victory. He ultimately crossed the finish line in second place, collecting important championship points.
The two runner-up finishes highlighted the competitiveness of Alumitec Racing and the dedication of every member of the organization.
Brands Hatch once again demonstrated that success in motorsport is never achieved by one individual alone. It is the result of teamwork, preparation, resilience and the determination to continue fighting regardless of the circumstances.
For Alumitec Racing, the performances delivered in the United Kingdom confirmed that the team had the speed and competitive strength required to challenge for victories throughout the 2026 season.
