Marco Mancini is the Crew Chief of Alumitec Racing one of the most consistent and experienced teams in European stock car racing. A lifelong motorsport enthusiast, he is also the owner of a specialized mechanical workshop focused on American muscle cars and carbureted engines a passion that reflects both his deep mechanical expertise and his appreciation for classic automotive performance.
His Racing journey began in 2007, when he joined Caal Racing as a mechanic during the International Superstars Series. Over the years, his technical skills, leadership qualities, and strategic mindset led him to take on greater responsibilities. In 2014, with the launch of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series program, he was officially appointed Crew Chief a role in which he continues to excel to this day.
What sets him apart is not only his mechanical know how, but also the remarkable consistency and trust he has built within the team. He has worked alongside the same engineer and mechanic for 18 consecutive seasons, forming a solid core that brings unmatched experience and cohesion to every race weekend.
Before transitioning to circuit racing, he gained valuable experience in rallying, participating in both the Italian Rally Championship and events in the World Rally Championship (WRC). This background adds a unique layer to his racing approach, combining the tactical adaptability of rally with the precision demands of circuit competition.
Under his leadership, the team has become known for its reliability, sharp pit strategies, and ability to perform under pressure. He remains a cornerstone at Alumitec Racing sucess bringing stability, vision, and passion.
