Alumitec Racing delivered the most successful weekend in its history by securing three victories and one runner-up finish during the NASCAR GP Czech Republic at Autodrom Most.
Raphaël Lessard dominated the OPEN Championship, winning both Saturday’s and Sunday’s races behind the wheel of the No. 11 Alumitec Racing Ford Mustang.
His first victory came following a breathtaking last-lap restart. Lessard completed a decisive pass on Thomas Toffel through the chicane and won by only 0.247 seconds.
On Sunday, the Canadian produced a completely different performance. He took the lead on the opening lap and controlled the race from the front, completing his first NASCAR Euro Series weekend sweep.
Gianmarco Ercoli added another exceptional result in the V8GP Championship.
After finishing second in Saturday’s race, the Italian returned on Sunday and secured a heroic victory despite suffering a fractured finger during the opening lap. Ercoli endured the pain, maintained his concentration and successfully defended the lead until the chequered flag.
The combined results gave Alumitec Racing three victories from four races, as well as a runner-up finish—a remarkable achievement in one of Europe’s most competitive stock-car championships.

The No. 11 Ford Mustang displayed exceptional performance across both championship divisions, while the drivers demonstrated speed, intelligence and determination in very different circumstances.
For Alumitec Racing, the Czech Republic weekend represented more than a collection of trophies. It was confirmation that the team possesses the drivers, personnel and competitive foundation required to fight at the front of the NASCAR Euro Series.
