Alumitec Racing is proud to announce the appointment of Wayne Carroll Jr as Crew Chief, marking a major milestone in the team’s technical and sporting structure as it pursues its long-term ambitions.
A true veteran of the North American paddock, Wayne Carroll Jr brings extensive top-level NASCAR experience to Alumitec Racing, with more than 270 combined starts across the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Truck Series. His career has been defined by a methodical approach, operational consistency, and a deep understanding of the driver team relationship.
Over the years, Carroll Jr has worked with several high-profile drivers, contributing directly to both their performance and development. Among them are Michael Waltrip, Elliott Sadler, and Joe Nemechek, along with other experienced drivers who have competed at the highest level of NASCAR. These collaborations have built his reputation as a reliable, precise, and results-driven crew chief, capable of maximizing a driver’s potential within demanding racing programs.
Known for his composure on pit lane and his ability to make strategic decisions under pressure, Wayne Carroll Jr embodies a racing philosophy centered on discipline, preparation, and consistency—values that align perfectly with the DNA of Alumitec Racing.
