The FIA International Court of Appeal is scheduled on October 15, 2026 to hear the appeal arising from the events that took place at Brands Hatch on June 7, 2026 a case with potential consequences for drivers, championship points, sporting fairness and the final standings of the 2026 NASCAR Euro Series Championship.

Across the 10 articles, the series will examine the chronology of the events at Brands Hatch, the circumstances surrounding the request for an engine inspection, the implications of the ATA Carnet, the technical and procedural elements of the case, and the subsequent appeal process.

Particular attention will be given to the appeal scheduled to be heard by the FIA International Court of Appeal on October 15, 2026, under Case No. ICA-2026-12-13.
Without anticipating the Court’s ruling, the series of articles will examine the possible outcomes of the appeal, including whether the contested decision is upheld, overturned in whole or in part, or whether its sporting consequences are modified.
For each relevant scenario, the articles will examine what it could potentially mean for the race results, championship points and standings of the affected drivers, as well as the broader implications for the championship.
Until the FIA International Court of Appeal issues its ruling, any discussion of potential changes to results, points or standings will be clearly identified as conditional and hypothetical.
