Alumitec Racing is proud to officially announce the appointment of Axel Dijoux as Chief Mechanical & Car Chief of the #48 program for the 2026 season.
An accomplished automotive technician and motorsport professional, Axel brings a unique combination of precision, operational discipline, and performance-driven expertise to the team.
Currently working with Aston Martin, Axel specializes in advanced mechanical operations including:
- Drivetrain removal and installation
- Gearbox systems and performance calibration
- Chassis and suspension geometry setup
- High-level diagnostics and recall procedures
His professional background also includes roles with BMW and Audi, where he refined his technical rigor and efficiency in high-demand performance environments.
Elite Racing Foundation
Axel built his competitive motorsport foundation at the prestigious FFSA Academy in Le Mans, training as a competition mechanic in Formula 4 and rally programs.
He later contributed to rally and GT4 European Series programs, preparing cars for both gravel and asphalt events, managing tire strategies, and supporting full paddock operations.
Certified in high-voltage systems with multiple electrical accreditations and experienced in carbon composite fabrication, Axel blends luxury-level automotive standards with a race-winning mindset.
